About this experience

Tobogganing is not an Olympic sport, but has become one of Lillehammer’s most popular activities. Attach your toboggan directly to the lift, and enjoy being pulled to the top before you zoom down the groomed 1km track. The toboggans are equipped with brakes, and you decide the speed. Everyone is equipped with a helmet and goggles, and you control the speed yourself by applying the brakes on the toboggan as needed. It takes only a few runs before you are racing at full speed down course, laughing all the way. Age limit is 5 years, 10 years to ride alone. Kanthaugen Freestyle Arena served as the venue for moguls, freestyle, aerials and ballet (demonstration event) during the 1994 Winter Olympics. Today it is used for tobogganing in specially designed sledges, as well as other speed-filled activities. Welcome to snow, fun and excitement!
