Best Time to Visit and Travel Tips for Cannes

The best time to visit Cannes is during the spring and early summer months, from April to June, when the weather is pleasantly warm, and the city is buzzing with excitement in anticipation of the film festival. Alternatively, September is also an excellent time to explore Cannes, as the summer crowds have dispersed, leaving the beaches and attractions less crowded. To reach Cannes, fly into Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, which is approximately 30 kilometers away. From there, you can take a train or rent a car to enjoy the scenic drive along the coast. Once in Cannes, the city is easily navigable on foot, but there's also a reliable public transport system and plenty of taxis for longer journeys.
