Journey into the forest looking for moose, known throughout Finland as the King of the Forest due to their graceful gait and prominent horns that look like a giant crown. The most powerful and largest of deer species, moose are most active at sunrise and sunset, while during the day they often hide in thickets. Head out before sunset in a vehicle from which you can spot moose as you pass. Like all animals, moose are unpredictable and therefore moose sightings cannot be guaranteed, but rest assured your guide will do everything they can to ensure you spot one of these majestic creatures and enjoy your foray into the Finnish wilderness.
