A green patch near a pond next to the old route at the southern edge of Afstapahraun which is a lava field up of Vatnsleysuvík. Reykjanesbraut (41) lies around the patch.

There used to be a farmstead and a known place to rest at. Kuagerdi means “Cow Grazings”. Today there as been put up a memorial cross for those who have died in traffic accidents on Reykjanesbraut.
