About this experience

Visit the museum and the permanent exhibitions in two old prisons, centrally located beside the castle on the south side of the Gavle river. The castle prison from 1732 displays an exhibition about the time when we in Sweden had shame piles in town, shame logs outside the churches and all the gallows along the beaten track.
