Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon is a spectacular natural wonder located in the south of Iceland.

The canyon is up to 100 metres deep and 2 kilometres long, with sheer walls of basalt columns. It was formed by a glacier flowing through the area thousands of years ago.

The canyon is a popular spot for hikers and photographers, who come to admire the stunning views of the canyon walls, the river below, and the surrounding mountains. The canyon is also home to a variety of wildlife, including the rare Arctic Fox.

Visitors can take a guided tour of the canyon, or explore it on their own. There are also several hiking trails in the area, offering visitors the chance to explore the canyon from different angles.
