About this experience

Visit one of the largest battleship-cannons put on land in Europe during the second World War. With its four guns it became the largest and most powerful battery along the 5000 km long Atlantic Wall, and today these cannons are the only ones still intact and possible to visit. Access only on request, and you need to contact us at least 48 hours (two work-days) before desired time for guiding. Meeting point is clearly marked before you come to the main gate at Trondenes army camp. Follow the signs to Adolfkanonen, and it should be easy to find. NB! All visitors are required to meet at least 10 minutes prior to the tour at the starting point. All visitors over the age of 16 needs to bring photo ID for registration before entering the army camp. All visitors to the guided tours need to enter the area with their own car. It is not possible to walk or cycle to the canon that is on military property!
