From Jakobsbakken you can walk a few hundred meters, then you are inside the venerable Junkerdal National Park. Starting from the Sulitjelma mountains you can also walk right into the UNESCO World Heritage Site Laponia, "Europe's last great wilderness".

The Sami are still running herds here. There are also other remains of outcrops, fishing, harvesting and traces of mineral remainings in Sulis. Price: 1250 NOK per person.
