Aberdeen Trinity Cemetery
Central Scotland, ScotlandAbout this experience
The port city of Aberdeen played an important role in both world wars. The city was the home of the Gordon Highlanders infantry regiment, while servicemen of the Royal Navy Reserve based out of Aberdeen’s port swept the waters of the North Sea for enemy mines.
Trinity Cemetery, which dates from the turn of the 19th-20th century, contains the graves and memorials to over 170 First World War and over 100 Second World War service personnel, including two servicewomen.
