Norway is known mainly by the fjords along its west coast, as well as the midnight sun and Northern Lights. While famous for its fjords along the Atlantic, the interior has great valleys, wide forests, mountains and fjord-like lakes. Water in all varieties is perhaps what Norway is most characterised for: the coastline, the great fjords, countless waterfalls and numerous glaciers.
