They represent two of many fjord arms in the 204 km long Sognefjord, the 'King of the Fjords'. Aurlandsfjord is a 17-kilometer long branch and the surrounding mountains are up to more than 1400 metres high.
In fact, the Aurlandsfjord is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage area. The Aurlandsfjord is an adventure for nature lovers, and you will find many ways to experience fresh air, the silence and the sounds from the pure drinkable water from waterfalls. Especially during the summer, you can experience the Aurlandsfjord from the boat, in a kayak or by walking in the surrounding mountains and green valleys.
