Pollatinden
Fjords, NorwayAbout this experience
Pollatinden is the second highest mountain in Solund and is often referred to as the Queen of the archipelago.
Whether it is the fact that the mountain is the second highest mountain in the muncipality that is the origin of the queen's name, or that Queen Sonja has repeatedly climbed the mountain is not known.
The mountain rises 541 meters above sea level and offers fantastic views of the westernmost islands in Norway.
The trip is moderately demanding with a steep climb to the top. The tour takes approx. 2-3 hours round trip.
