Gea Norvegica Unesco Global Geopark, Porsgrunn
Eastern Norway, NorwayGea Norvegica Unesco Global Geopark in Porsgrunn is a unique natural area with a rich cultural heritage. It is a protected area of more than 200 square kilometres with a wide variety of natural and cultural attractions.
The area is home to some of Norway's most spectacular landscapes, including the world's largest fjord, the Hardangerfjord, and the highest mountain in Northern Europe, the Galdhøpiggen. The area also includes the stunning Svartisen glacier, the largest glacier in Norway.
