About this experience

Harstad seperated from Trondenes as a parish on 1 July 1954. Four years later, on 3 August 1958, Harstad church was consecrated and opened to public. The architect was Jan Inge Hovik, designer of the Arctic Cathedral. Guided tours by appoinment all year.
