About this experience

Sisselfossen is a beautiful waterfall with a 100m vertical drop. This hike is easy at first, with a steep descent to the viewpoint in front of the waterfall towards the end. Can be slippery. The trail follows the Sanddøldalen valley, with unique flora and varied wildlife. There are many cultural heritage sites in the area. The walk to Sisselfossen is signposted. If you want a longer hike you can follow signs to Båsdalsfjellet. Directions: From E6, drive eastwards on Fv74 for about 55 km, then turn left onto Fv341 towards Ågård. Turn left at Ågård and continue along Båsdalsveien (toll road). Park at the picnic area at the end of the road and start your walk here.
