BOS+ was founded in 1970 with a clear mission: to protect, restore, and expand forests in Flanders and worldwide. For over 50 years, BOS+ has been working tirelessly to ensure the preservation of forests, promoting sustainable forest management, and fighting deforestation.
Forests are essential for the health of our planet—they absorb carbon dioxide, protect biodiversity, and provide clean air, water, and natural spaces for people and wildlife alike. Unfortunately, forests are under constant threat from climate change, urbanization, and industrial activities.
