About Latvian Charity Bank
Latvia Charity Bank is a unique charity organization supporting not only Latvians but people in need across the Baltic States. We are dedicated to supporting low-income families with children, and individuals in need. Providing humanitarian help is our main focus, thus we’re supporting more than 15,000 people, together with our partners. We’ve created an extensive database which contains valuable information for those in need, providing them with well-needed opportunities and solutions.
Children are especially in need of our support: one in five Latvian children are at risk of poverty or social exclusion
That’s why we help and organize a variety of activities for poor families and children, however also lonely elderly people, seniors and social risk groups are not forgotten.
Some of their activities are:
– Partnerships with other charitable organizations to complement and diversify food packages for people in need
– Legal help
– Seminars about useful subjects
– Organization of children’s educational camps
– Sports activities
– Educational and fun trips to the theatre and circus
