About Eestimaa Looduse Fund
Eestimaa Looduse Fund (ELF) was founded on 1 February 1991. Since then we’ve dedicated each day to protect endangered species and their habitats, natural landscapes and communities characteristic of Estonia – the sea, wetlands and ancient forests.
Our logo animal is a rare flying squirrel that lives in the cavities of old aspens, symbolising that ELF is a politically and economically independent organisation that provides society with the expertise necessary for nature conservation.
ELF is also a science-based organization – we rely on the best available knowledge in our activities.
As a donor, you will be helping the Estonian Fund for Nature to remain independent and advocate for the preservation of Estonian nature. Only in this way can we launch various initiatives, advocate for environmentally friendly decisions and involve volunteers in nature conservation.
